The Truth Project - Week 1

Last week I posted about a new bible study (The Truth Project) my husband and I are doing with our church. We started last Wednesday and it was amazing.  I never really thought about why it was called The Truth Project but I quickly learned at our first session that we are going to find out what the "Truth" is.

I have never read through the complete bible. I am working on it now before my bedtime (kids are asleep). Come to find out in our study that Jesus refers to himself many times as "The Truth". I have heard this before but always thought of it as my own definition of "Truth". Wait! I can't even explain my definition of "Truth".

This is where the thinking comes in What is Truth? Why did Jesus come to this world to bear witness to the "Truth" (John 18: 37,38) ?

With our study we purchased a Daily Travelogue that has a daily study of this topic. This keeps our minds spinning until Wednesday (our next study).
